B.SC., D.M.D., M.SC., FRCD(C), CERTIFIED SPECIALIST IN ORTHODONTICS IN MIDTOWN TORONTO, INSTRUCTOR: FACULTY OF DENTISTRY UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO
Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Lands completed his Bachelor of Science Degree from McGill University, graduating with great distinction. From there he received his dental degree from the Université de Montreal. Based upon his achievements in dental school, he was twice awarded the John Sherman Prize for academic performance and contribution to school life, from the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and also received the Award of Excellence from the American Association of Orthodontists upon graduation. He then completed the hospital residency program at the Jewish General Hospital, gaining valuable experience in the treatment and management of medically compromised patients. Dr. Lands’ passion for orthodontics brought him back to the Université de Montreal where he received his Masters of Science degree in Orthodontics.
Passionate about learning and sharing knowledge, Dr. Lands is a part-time instructor with the Faculty of Dentistry at University of Toronto and lectures locally on multidisciplinary care, digital orthodontics, and airway orthodontics. He has a keen interest in digital orthodontics, managing complex Invisalign cases. He has participated in the Invisalign Masters Program and the Teen-Edge program. Dr. Lands also has extensive experience working with sleep-medicine physicians in the management of snoring and sleep apnea and is a qualified dentist with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Lands speaks fluent French, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is a member the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. While not at work, Dr. Lands loves spending time with his family.
