Our Lingual Braces are custom-made, self-ligating brackets designed to be placed behind your teeth, making them completely invisible from the front. We use brackets from GC Orthodontics, as each bracket is precisely tailored to fit your individual tooth anatomy for maximum comfort and effectiveness. At Midtown Orthodontics, Drs. What Are Lingual Braces
Self-ligating lingual braces are fixed braces that are attached to the inner surfaces of your teeth, making them invisible from the front.
Rather than using elastic ties to secure the wire, self-ligating brackets use a built-in clip. This reduces friction along the wire, allowing for more controlled tooth movement and typically fewer adjustments.
