Invisalign® for Teens
Invisalign® straightens teeth without wires and brackets, using a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners. It’s virtually undetectable, which means your teen won't feel embarrassed when wearing them.
Our Treatment Process
Each aligner is worn for about two weeks and only removed to eat, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will begin to move gradually—week by week—until the final alignment prescribed is attained. Then you'll be smiling like you never have before.
Initial Consultation
Your first step is to visit our clinic to determine if Invisalign is right for your teen. We'll evaluate their teeth, discuss their smile goals, and create a customized treatment plan.
Custom Treatment Design
After we send precise treatment instructions, Invisalign uses advanced computer technology to translate these instructions into a sequence of finely calibrated aligners designed specifically for your teen's smile transformation.
Wearing Your Prescribed Aligners
You and your teen will receive their custom aligners and detailed instructions on how to wear and care for them. We'll ensure you and your teen are both comfortable with the process and answer all your questions.
Progress and Completion
You'll visit our clinic periodically so we can monitor your teen's progress and provide your next sets of aligners. This way, we can ensure your treatment stays on track until your smile is complete!
How Does Invisalign® Treatment Work?
After your teen's consultation and treatment design, they'll receive their first set of aligners and wear each one for approximately one week before moving to the next in the series.
How Long Each Aligner is Worn
Aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours per day and only removed to eat, drink anything other than water, brush, and floss. Consistent wear is the single biggest factor in keeping your treatment on schedule.
Daily Life with Invisalign
For the most part, Invisalign fits seamlessly into everyday life. Your teen can eat whatever they like since the aligners come out for meals. Brushing and flossing remain straightforward. Throughout the day, the aligners are barely noticeable and can be removed for short periods when needed.

Benefits and Limitations
Invisalign is discreet, removable, and comfortable. There are no brackets or wires, and you can take them out for meals, special events, and oral hygiene.
That said, it isn't the right solution for every case. More complex bite issues may be better addressed with braces or a combined approach, and results depend heavily on consistent wear.
How long does Invisalign take?
Treatment length varies depending on the complexity of your case. Most patients complete treatment within 12 to 18 months. We'll give you a clearer estimate at your consultation once we've had a chance to assess your specific situation.
Is Invisalign covered by insurance?
Many dental plans that include orthodontic coverage will contribute to Invisalign treatment. We'll help you review your coverage and walk you through payment options at your consultation.
